Thankful for our new sign...

 

 

We are very thankful for our new sign. We praise the Lord for giving us this sign. In the past we have always put bible verses on our sign, and have stayed away from "church sayings". Some of the sayings are very good, but we do not agree that is what is needed in this country. Since the bible says "seek ye out of the book of the Lord and read" we feel it is every churches responsibility to get as much of the words of God out to as many people as we can as often as possible. We try to keep fresh verses on the sign every two weeks. The most important thing is that we promised the Lord if he would give us the sign we would make sure to keep scripture on it. Since "the entrance of thy words giveth light", the more verses we can keep on the sign the more opportunity folks will have to read the words of the living God.
 
We have had so many people comment on how much they appreciate our new sign.  We have also been blessed to have families visit our church since we put up our new sign. What a blessing it is to see the Lord do something so amazing with something so small. God is so good.

Here at Bridgeport Baptist Church, our goal is to bring honor and glory to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Our Services are Christ centered. Each service is for saints and sinners alike, but it is all about HIM, and never about them.

 

We are a small group of, saved by the Blood of Jesus Christ, King James Bible Believers trying to serve and please our lord.

 

We believe in old fashioned, Christ centered worship in preaching and singing. We believe it is the preaching of the word of God is what pleases God and intend to keep on preaching the book as long as God gives us grace to do so.

 

Here at our church we like old fashioned Congregational singing where everyone can lift up their voice in praise to our God. We like shouting, and saying amen, and praise God, because HE is worthy of all our praise. We try to tell the old old story of Jesus and His love as often as we can.
