Our church was started in 1986. Our pastor at the time was Dr. James A. Lince, who pastored the church till July 2005 when he was called home to heaven.

Since that time Bro. Michael B. Wheeler has pastored the church. We are a small church. We  hope someday the Lord will bless our church with like minded Christians. 

Until that time we will remain faithful with the people he has been so gracious to entrust us with. It is a supreme honor to pastor God's people no matter what size the

congregation. Someone once said "the strength of a church is never determined by the size of the church". Popularity is not the premise for dedicated service to God.

Here at Bridgeport Baptist Church we have a very dedicated and faithful group of bible believers.
